In 2021, CAT exams were completed in three sessions. The CAT test was held on the 28th of November, with an early first-morning session (8:30 AM until 10:10 AM) an afternoon session (12:30 pm until 2:30 PM), and an evening session (4:30 pm - 6:30 pm). With the understanding that students must be evaluated equally throughout the various exam sessions and a procedure of normalization is carried out. As per the CAT conductors body -"The Normalization procedure should adjust for scale and location differences of distributions of scores across different types. After normalization across types, the scores should be further normalized across various sections."
