Though the instructions are given on the student's admit card, this communication requests all principals of CBSE affiliated schools to sensitise their students and create general awareness towards the prohibition of use of unfair practices in the examination hall/centre."
The CBSE notice highlights a new provision under the Unfair Means Act, which states that students involved in spreading rumours that disrupt the smooth conduct of the examinations will also face serious consequences.
Their examinations of all subjects of the current and coming year will be cancelled and after this, they will be allowed to appear in examinations of all subjects.
