CBSE Special Board Exams 2025: Dates, Admit Card, and Exam Schedule

CBSE has announced special exam dates for class 10th and 12th students participating in national and international sports events during the 2025 board exams. The special exams will provide these students an opportunity to take their exams at a later date.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for special examinations for students participating in national and international sports events during the class 10th and 12th board examinations 2025.Applicants can verify the CBSE special exam time table at cbse.gov.in.

As per the CBSE special exam schedule, the CBSE Class 10 exam will be held from April 7 to April 11, 2025. The CBSE Class 12 exam will be held on April 11, 2025. The exams will be held in a single shift on a day, either between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm or between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, depending on the subject.

CBSE new admit cards for special exam for class 10th and 12th will be released soon. Students must bring their CBSE admit card and valid ID proof on the day of the exam. Candidates who fail to bring their CBSE hall ticket will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Students must reach the exam center by 10 am and students will get 15 minutes of reading time before the exam starts.

Class 10 Special Exam Schedule:

1. April 7, 2025 – English Language and Literature, Hindi Course ‘A’, French
2. April 8, 2025 – Science
3. April 9, 2025 – Social Science, Multi-Skill Foundation Course
4. April 11, 2025 – Hindi Course ‘B’, Sanskrit

Class 12 Special Exam Schedule:

1. April 11, 2025 – English Core, Chemistry, Physical Education, Hindi Elective, Hindi Core

CBSE Board Exam Timeline

CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 to March 18, 2025. At the same time, Class 12 board exams began on February 15 and will end on April 4, 2025. After completing the Class 12 exams, CBSE will conduct special exams for students who were exempted due to participating in sports events.
