CEE is a national organization that was founded to raise
awareness of environmental issues across the country. CEE builds capacity in
the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as well as innovative
educational programs and materials. In August 1984, the Ministry of Environment
and Forests of India supported the establishment of the Centre for Environment
Education (CEE) as a Centre of Excellence. The organization strives to create
materials and programs that raise environmental and sustainable development
awareness. Ahmedabad serves as the headquarters. There are 41 offices of the
center all over India, including regional cells in Bangalore (South), Guwahati
(North East), Lucknow (North), Ahmedabad (West), and Pune (Central); state
offices in Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Raipur, and Goa; as well as numerous
field offices. It has offices in Sri Lanka and Australia for international
business.
In India and a number of other nations, CEE collaborates
with governments at the state, national, and international levels to assist in
the development of a sustainable future. In the development of interpretive
programs and facilities, CEE collaborates closely with Forest Departments and
other institutions. It implements numerous school programs in collaboration
with various organizations thanks to its extensive network of more than 2
million schools. CEE has made significant contributions to international
negotiations regarding ESD through collaboration with the government. In India,
CEE has served as a Nodal Agency for a number of UN initiatives, including the
UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) in collaboration with
UNESCO; Together with UNDP, the Global Environmental Facility's Small Grants
Program (GEF-SGP); Programmes for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) (with
UNICEF); and numerous others
A project titled "Rural & Urban Landscapes Free
of Dry & Plastic Waste" is being carried out by the Centre for
Environment Education. This is one of the national initiatives implemented in
10 cities and 140 villages by HDFC Bank and CEE. The project aims to promote
the ZERO WASTE MODEL APPROACH, which promotes zero landfills, zero plastic burning,
zero emissions, and zero wastages in dry waste management in India, as well as
to minimize risks to human health and the environment in the pilot areas, which
are located in both urban and rural areas.
Swachh Sustainable Business Models (SSBMs) for improved
dry and plastic waste management by establishing – DRY WASTE Material Recovery
Facilities as Swachh Centres (SCs), in line with the emerging MOEFCC GOI
"National Resource Efficiency Policy" and the "National
Materials Recycling Policy," is the strategy, which aims to have a
multi-stakeholder approach through an integrated model directed to address
immediate causes with support from HDFC BANK and co-financing funding (both in-cash
and in-kind) from the state and central government funds, NGOs/Companies
contributions as waste management agencies (WMAs), by establishing an Swachh
Sustainable Business Models (SSBMs) for improved dry & plastic waste
management by establishing – DRY WASTE Material Recovery Facilities as Swachh
Centres (SCs), in line with the emerging MOEFCC GOI “National Resource
Efficiency Policy” and the “National Materials Recycling Policy”.
(2) Job role in centre for environment
education
The exam assignment's objective is to ensure
proper financial reporting to the donor and proper financial management for the
implementation of "Rural & Urban Landscapes Free of Dry & Plastic
Waste" in cities.
The hired Finance Officer will keep track of
the project's finances and ensure that they are delivered in accordance with
the contract with the donor and service providers.
The newly hired Finance Officer will advise
the Senior. Program Director/Project Manager and make certain that the
financial strategic direction is focused on achieving the donor-agreed
deliverables.
(3) Qualifications and experience
requirements:
Master’s degree in commerce or Finance/MBA
(Finance)/Chartered Account; additional qualification in Finance, Accounts,
Operations will be added advantage.
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in
finance at senior level.
(4) Scope of Work:
Support with Financial Management:
1. Proper planning, expenditures tracking and
audit of financial resources in accordance with CEE rules and regulations and
as per agreement with the donor.
2. Maintain supporting documents of funds and
activities and information for the audits with support from Account executives.
3. Prepare financial reports as per the
requirement of the donor and share on time. Ensure quality control over
financial transactions and financial report
4. Maintenance of the internal expenditures
control system to ensure that requisitions are supported by proper approvals
and payments are processed
upon receipt of final invoices and deliverables
5. Constant monitoring and analysis of the project’s
finance, timely readjustment of the operations, advice on legal considerations
and risk assessment.
6. Preparation of payment vouchers for the
project, check their accuracy and processing in CEE financial system, creation
of requisitions in the system,
making budget checks and receipting in the
system with the support of Account executive.
7. Perform any other tasks assigned from time to
time by the senior management.

The CEE-Delhi
is a one-stage examination for admission to B.E. programs offered by Delhi
College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).
Only Delhi is the location of the examination. A Health Science Proficiency
Certificate Level or Diploma in General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology,
Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Radiography, or
Physiotherapy with Physics, Chemistry, or Biology that is compatible with the
NEB with a minimum of 2.4 GPA or 50% aggregate marks is required

Pattern for CEE-Delhi
2023
1. The CEE-Delhi is a one-stage test for admission to B.E.
courses at Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of
Technology (NSIT).
2. The examination is only given in Delhi.
3. There are 180 multiple-choice objective questions, 60 of
which are from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each worth four points.
4. The paper must be completed by students within the allotted
three hours.
5. Incorrect answers result in negative marking.
6. Students can only receive a grade of 480. Each question in
Assam CEE is worth four points. The exam has negative marking, with one mark
deducted for each incorrect response.

Mathematics is based on the standard of Senior School Certificate Examination
conducted by C.B.S.E and other boards. The question paper contains questions
