Tie Breaker for HPCET 2025 Results

To resolve tie-breaker situations where candidates obtain the same aggregate scores in HPCET 2025 or the qualifying exam, Himachal Pradesh Technical University will implement the following rules.

1. BTech/BPharmacy/BPharmacy (Ayurveda) - Direct Entry:
2. The candidate with the highest marks in Physics will have a higher ranking.
3. If marks in Physics are equal, the higher marks in Chemistry will be the differentiating factor.
4. When marks in Physics and Chemistry are identical, marks in the third subject will be compared.
5. If a tie persists, marks from the Grade 12 examination will be taken into account during counseling, if not provided in the HPCET 2025 application.
6. If marks from the qualifying examination are also identical, the candidates' date of birth will be considered, with older candidates having priority in ranking.

HPCET Merit List 2025

Based on the HPCET 2025 exam Result or the JEE Main scores, the authorities will prepare the merit list. Shortlisted candidates will then be required to appear for the HPCET 2025 counseling process. Inter-se Merit of HPCET 2025
