NEW DELHI: The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) will handle all admissions directly through its official website iiit.ac.in. Admission to BTech courses will be offered through various channels such as JEE Mains 2025 score, special channel (spec mode), UG entrance exam, direct admission, and Olympiads.
The institute announced that it will conduct the entrance exam for BTech programmes on April 19. Registration for IIIT Hyderabad UGEE 2025 will remain open till March 23. NTA has declared JEE Main session 1 results 2025 and is scheduled to conduct session 2 exams from April 1. IIIT Hyderabad is the first institute that was established in 1998 under non-profit public-private partnership (N-PPP). Admission to BTech in this college takes place through various modes, but not through JoSAA counselling 2025.

The institute will fill a total of 100 seats for BTech Computer Science Engineering and BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering through JEE Main cut-off percentile. Out of the total seats, 75% seats will be allotted to the common pool and the remaining 25% seats will be allotted to the diversity pool. However, IIIT-H will first declare the results of the diversity poll and a female candidate in the common pool will be considered only after these seats are exhausted.

Step 1: Appear for JEE Main
To be eligible for admission, candidates must appear for the JEE Main exam and secure a rank within the cut-off range. The exam tests students' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Step 2: Register for JoSAA Counseling
After the JEE Main results are announced, candidates must register for the JoSAA counseling process. During counseling, students can select IIIT Hyderabad as their preferred institute and choose their desired program (CSE or ECE).
