IPU CET 2024 exam has been conducted for courses like BTech (Biotechnology), Lateral Entry to BTech programs for graduates, Lateral Entry to BTech programs for BSc holders and many other courses. However, admission to BTech courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is based on JEE main scores. Candidates who want to be admitted in BTech courses offered by Gobind Singh Indraprastha University must qualify for JEE Main to participate in the counselling process.

IPU CET 2024 will not be conducted for BTech admission. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main 2024 can go through the counselling of IPU CET 2024 registration and choice filling process before the last date. PU CET 2024 Counselling: How to Apply?

Below is the step-wise procedure to apply for IPU Counseling 2024:

Step 1: Submission of IPU CET 2024 Counselling Fee

Candidates have to submit a fee of INR 1000 to be eligible to participate in the Counselling for the respective CET code.

1. Submit the application fee by visiting the official website of GGSIPU University
2. Click on “Payment of Counseling Fee”.
3. Payment through Challan: Pay in cash at any Indian Bank branch through Challan on the official website. One copy of the challan will remain with the bank and the applicant should keep the second copy for future reference.
4. Payment by Internet Banking: Consultation fees can be paid by credit or debit card or by Internet Banking.
5. Check payment status from the official website: ipuadmissions.nic.in and print the online payment confirmation form with transaction id.
6. Make online payments in advance to avoid transaction errors and technical errors when submitting your payment.

Step 2: Registration

1. If the counselling fee is paid through challan, the registration of such candidates will start after two working days of remittance of payment.
2. To register, fill in the CET details for the course and enter your academic and contact details after authentication. In the meantime, a username and password will be sent.
3. If your registration is unsuccessful, visit the University Help Desk in person and submit the dispute copy or payment receipt (whichever is applicable).
4. You should take two printouts of the application form. One is required for document authentication and the applicant must retain the other

Step 3: Choice Filling 

1. Indicate your preference of the colleges affiliated to IP University, which can be done through a combination of streams and colleges.
2. After selecting the options, the university manages the distribution of seats.
3. It is recommended to fill in as many options as possible, as this increases the chances of getting the desired place in the desired college. Check the IPU CET Cutoff
4. Fewer selections may result in the non-allotment of seats.
5. If you are not admitted to the first round of counselling, the change of preference will apply to the subsequent rounds of counselling.

IPU CET Seat Allotment

The seat result will help the candidates to know the allotted seats. After the announcement of the seat, the result candidates have to freeze the seat if they don't want to participate in the new counselling.
