Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET)

(1) About JUET

JUET 2023 is an entrance exam administered every year for  admission to Postgraduate (PG), PG Diploma and Undergraduate programs offered by Jammu University, Jammu. Jammu University begins the JUET exam  every June. Selection for undergraduate and graduate programs administered by Jammu University based on two parameters: proficiency test merits and entrance test merits. The aptitude test is weighted with 75%  and  JUET with 25% to JUET.

(3) JUET 2023 Application Form:

1. The JUET 2023 application form  will not be published online until May. Visit the official website https://www.jus.in And sign up for a test.

2. Check the eligibility criteria before applying for JUET 2023.

3. Documents  to be submitted  with the application form include electronic copies of passport photo and signature (100 KB size and at least 2 KB in JPG format).

 
Tuition Fee:
Tuition fee for General category applicants is INR 850/- and INR 730 for SC/ST category applicants.Submit additional INR 600/- for self-funded recording location.

Steps to apply online JUET 2023 application form:

1. Log in to the recruitment portal, e.g. B. www.juet.w

2. Complete the registration by entering the required information such as name, email address, mobile phone number, password, state and city, and so on.

3. Click on the “Register” button and a message will appear on the screen that your account has been successfully opened.

4. Open your email account and then the Jammu University email address.

5. Click on the confirmation link and go back to the portal.

6. Login with your registered email ID and password

7. Select the course you are applying for

8. Click on the application form on JUET 2023

9. The application form will open and enter your Data as personal data, parental data, address, academic data, etc.

10. Upload photo and signature in last passport size 

11. Submit  form

12. Go to  payment section

13. Submit  application fee via online banking/debit/credit card

(4) JUET 2023 Admission Criteria:

Admission criteria vary by course.

 
Under Graduate Program:

1. To apply for the UG course, you must have passed Class XII with a minimum qualifying grade between 45% and 50% (depending on the course required).

2. Candidates in the SC/ST category must achieve at least 40% - 45% (depending on the compulsory course)

 
Specialization course:

1. The candidate must finish with a minimum mark between 50% and 55% (depending on the course)

2. SC / ST candidates must achieve a minimum of 45% to 50% (depending on the program they are applying to)

Graduate Diploma Program:

1. Applicants must have graduated with a minimum of 45% to 55% (depending on the program desired)

2. Applicants Category SC/ST must have  at least 40%-50%  (depends on the  program applying for)

1. JUET 2023 is an offline exam.

2. The exam lasts 150 minutes.

3. The test consists of 150 objective questions.

4. The article is divided into 4 sections – General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Digital Literacy.

5. The first three sections  consist of 40 questions each, while the Digital Skills section consists of 30 questions.

6. The candidate receives 1 point for each correct answer and  0.25 points for an incorrect answer.

The syllabus for JUET 2023 is well-explained below:

Post Graduate Program: There will be four sections in the paper:

General English will consist of 40 Questions (Standard Graduate)

General Knowledge will consist of 40 Questions (Standard Graduate)

The reasoning will consist of 40 Questions (Standard Graduate)

Numerical Ability, 30 questions based on Class X standard

Under Graduate Program:
General English will consist of 40 Questions (Class XII Standard)
General Knowledge will consist of 40 Questions (Class XII Standard)
The reasoning will consist of 40 Questions (Class XII Standard)
Numerical Ability, 30 questions based on Class X standard

Section-Wise Topics Covered:

Section A: General English
Comprehension of passage
Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Jumbled paragraphs with 4 or 5 sentences¸
Sentence Correction, Sentence completion, Sentence Correction, the odd man out, idioms, one-word substitution, Different usage of the same word, etc.

Section B: General Knowledge
Famous award and prizes
Current Affairs, Business, Punch line of companies, Top officials of big companies, Major corporate events
Science, History, Geography, International organizations
Social issues, Sports, Finance, Automobiles, Entertainment, Politics, etc.

Section C: Reasoning
Critical reasoning, Visual reasoning, Assumption – Premise – Conclusion, Assertion and reasons, Statements and assumptions, Statements and Conclusions, identifying valid inferences, identifying Strong arguments and Weak arguments, Cause and Effect, Identifying Probably true, Probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statement, Linear arrangements, Matrix arrangements.
Puzzles, Syllogisms, Functions, Family tree – identifying relationship among a group of people, Symbol Based problems, Coding and decoding, Sequencing, identifying next number in series, etc.

       Section D: Numerical Ability

1. Go to www.juet.in
2. Find the candidate's login and click on it
3. A new web page will open with the entry ticket Download Admission JUET 2023 
4. Click Click Login Button     
5. Intake form will appear on  screen, download  and download 2-3 prints for later use.

Bring the admission ticket to the examination center as this is a mandatory document to enter the examination room.The candidate cannot enter the examination room without an access card. The data contained in the admission card is the candidate's name, ID number, address, date of birth, examination name, address of the examination location, etc. You must bring your photo ticket with you for verification.

(8) JUET 2023 Examination Center:
JUET 2023 examination will be conducted in 11 different examination centers. The list of the examination center is mentioned below:

(9) JUET 2023  Exam Result:

1. Visit www.juet.in

2. Go to candidate registration area

3. Click on  JUET 2023 result

4. The form will open

5. Fill in the required information: registration number registration, Date of Birth/Password

6. Click  Submit

7. Result will appear on  screen

8. Download and find Print

(10) JUET 2023  Counseling:

Councelling will be held after results are announced luogo.A rank is dated & Ranking Time Tips. Download, print and mail the invitation to the Board of Directors from www.juet.in the website, take a print and submit.

Documents required for Counselling Process:

1. The original mark sheet and certificate of class X and XII (for Undergraduate candidates)

2. Class X, XII, and Graduation Certificate / Degree / Mark Sheet (for Post Graduate & Post Graduate Diploma candidate)

3. Photo ID Proof showing Candidate’s Photo, Address, Date of Birth and Parents Name

4. Score Card of JUET 2023

5. Admit Card of  JUET 2023 Exam

6. Counseling Call Letter

7. latest passport size Photographs

8. JUET Application Fee Challan

9. Category proof issued by competent authority as per instructions
