 (1)About JCECE 2017 Exam

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) was established by the formation of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The state of Jharkhand has given the authority to hold entrance exams for admission to various educational establishments. Admission to engineering, M.B.B.S., agriculture, forestry, and B.V.Sc. programs is granted through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). Ayurvedic, homeopathic, and A.H. degree programs.

(2) JCECE 2017 Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Permanent/Local Residents of Jharkhand Aspirants must be at least 17

B.Tech. Course: In order to participate in this stream, a candidate must meet the following requirements, as outlined by AICTE, Delhi:

- The candidate must have an I.Sc. 10+2 or an equivalent examination in which Physics and Mathematics are required, as well as one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational, and the candidate has earned at least 45% (45% for candidates from the reserved category).

[I.Sc. / Candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination may also apply, but they must pass before the counseling date.]

According to MCI, Delhi's guidelines, a candidate must meet the following requirements to enroll in the M.B.B.S. program:

- At the qualifying examination, the applicant must have received a minimum of 50% combined score in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, and must have passed each of these subjects separately.

- In the case of candidates from the reserve category, the combined marks they receive in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology will be 40%, as opposed to 50% for General Candidates.

For enrollment in the Agriculture and Forestry Course, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

- The candidate must have an I.Sc. 10+2 or an equivalent exam with Physics and Chemistry as required subjects and one Math/Biology or Biology subject.

Agriculture (B.V.Sc. & A.H.] Course: To participate in this stream, a candidate must meet the following requirements, as outlined by the V.C.I. :

- The candidate must have an I.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are required subjects in the 10+2 or equivalent exam. I.Sc. / Candidates who have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination may also apply, but they must pass before the counseling date.]

Reservation Criteria

Aspirants must be a Permanent/Local resident of Jharkhand AND have procured proper Local Residential Certificate & Caste Certificate issued by proper authority assigned by Govt. of Jharkhand to get the reservation as per RESERVATION POLICY of Govt. of Jharkhand. Up-to-date reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand will be followed in all courses of Govt. and Private Institutes situated in Jharkhand State.

(3) JCECE 2017 Exam application form

How to Apply

Candidates can apply for JCECE 2017 online, by filling out an ICR Application Form, or by purchasing an OMR Application Form from a Post Office. Online Mode One can apply online for the JCECE exam by going to the official website and selecting the option to apply online.

Complete the application by providing the necessary information and paying INR 550 for PCM and PCB (INR 275 for SC/ST) and INR 600 for PCMB (INR 325 for SC/ST).

By downloading the challan form that was generated during the process of filling out the application, candidates can either pay the application fee directly into the JCECE board's Bank of India account using a debit or credit card using the online payment facility.

·         Step 1: Download the application form by clicking here To ensure your eligibility, download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully.

·         Step 2: Read the information bulletin's instructions for applying online and prepare all necessary documents, including scanned images of your photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression in JPG format only.

·         Step 3: You must join the examination group.

·         Step 4: Complete part II of the application and pay the examination fee via debit or credit card or electronic challenge.

·         Step 5: Complete the online application form and attach scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and thumb impression from your left hand.

·         Step 6: In the future, online applications will not be accepted.

(5) JCECE 2017 Exam Paper Pattern

Objective questions will be asked. Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/Biotechnology will be the three papers. The CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabuses will serve as the basis for the questions. PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), and PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and Biology) will be the three subject groups. There will be 50 multiple-choice questions with four answers in each section. 1 point will be awarded for each correct response. You can get a sense of the JCECE 2016 exam pattern for each subject from the table below.

(6) JCECE 2017 Exam Admit Card

Admit Card, also known as a Hall Ticket, is the most crucial document that candidates are required to bring with them to the JCECE 2017 Exam Centers where they will be taking the examination. To successfully download the admit card, the candidate must keep in touch with the official website on the specified date. The steps to downloading the admit card are as follows:

·         Open the JCECE's official website, which is mentioned in the brochure. Search for the Admit Card Tab at http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/).

-          Go with the JCECE Exam.

-          In the blank fields provided, enter the required information, such as the registration ID and date of birth.

·         After entering the required information and verifying it, click the "Submit" button.

-          Utilizing the Registration ID and Password provided to the candidate during the JCECE 2016 Application Process, download the admit card.

-          The admit card must be noted by the applicant as being in pdf format. The candidate must print the admit card after downloading it for future use.

(7) JCECE 2017 Exam Result

The JCECE 2017 results are anticipated to be available in July. On the official website, the results will be published.

Checking the JCECE 2017 Results in Steps:

·         Go to the JCECE official website and click on the JCECE.

·         Click the 2017 Result link and enter the registration number and password.

·         The candidate can then download the result from the screen.
