An aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and English with PCB or PCMB in combination is required. 

B.Tech in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering & Diary Technology 

Aspirants with a valid score card with the combination of agricultural science, PCB/PCMB/PCM can apply. 

B.Sc (Honours) Home Science and B.Fsc

Only applicants who have passed their 10+2 with combination of PCB/PCM/PCMB/ agricultural science can participate. 

B.Tech in CSE, ECE, and Mechanical

All wishing aspirants must have a valid 10+2 marksheet with PCM/PCMB.

Step 1 – Registration

• Go to the our official website of UPCATET.
• Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ option.
• An OTP will be sent to the aspirants via SMS.
• The manging authority will generate a new registration number and password.
• Utilise the registration data to fill up the registration form.

Step 2 - Application Form Fill Up

• Start the UPCATET 2023 registration process by entering the application number and password.
• Next step is to enter the necessary data, like as personal and educational qualifications, and upload all the required documents. 
• Furthermore, please make sure the centre code is entered correctly.
• Cross-check all the details mentioned and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 3 - Upload Documents

• Keep the documents as mentioned earlier handy, and upload the documents in the specific dimension. 

Step 4 - Pay the Fees

• When application form is filled up with all the required documents, candidates can move forward to pay the fees. 
• The fee for the general category is INR 1250/-
• The fee for the reserved category is INR 1050/-

Step 5 - Take Printout

• After all the above steps are performed, candidates have to take the printout of the form for further use.

Step 1 - Registration

• Go to the official website for the counselling process. 
• Next, ‘Password Creator for Counselling’ select this option. 
• Now, candidates must enter their DOB and registration number. 
• Once done, click on the ‘Generate OTP’ option.
• The generated OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. 
• The candidates must enter the OTP and click on the submit option. 
• Further, candidates now need to create a new password and save it for further usage.
• As the next step, candidates must log in using the newly created login credentials and upload all the required documents.
• Pay the counselling registration fee.  

Step 2 - Choice Filling (Online)

• Candidates can advance to the choice filling option post registration.
• Login with valid credentials and click on the ‘Choice Lock Option’. 
• Enter the choice of college and courses in a descending manner. 
• Lastly, click on the ‘Save’ option.

Step 3 - Seat Allocation and Fee Deposit

The participating colleges will release the seat matrix after the choice filling.Candidates can check the college they have been assigned.

NOTE: The allocation of the seats will depend on the vacancy and performance of the candidates.

Step 4 - Fee Deposit

• Candidates reqiured to reserve seats by paying INR 5000.
• However, candidates please ensure that they fill in the fee for a seat on the assigned date and time to visit the college.

Step 5 - Reporting to the Allotted College/ Institute

• Candidates have to visit the allotted college or institute to participate in counselling. 
• Further, all the documents must be proper.
