B-school.
The overall difficulty of the XAT exam was at the upper end
of the spectrum and contained a range of difficult and moderately difficult
questions. Here is the complete analysis of the various parts in XAT 2023:
The section on QA and DI was deemed moderately difficult by
test-takers. The Quant section included questions on numbers, algebra
trigonometry, geometry and more. The DI portion had three sets of three to four
questions per. DI sets were constructed using charts and graphs and were
considerably longer than the Quant portion.
A try of 15+ questions that are highly accurate can be
rewarded with a high mark.
VA & LR segment was an amalgamation of simple as well as
moderately challenging questions. This segment was based on Reading
Comprehension passages, Sentence Rearrangement, Critical reasoning and
grammar-related concepts. The study contained six RC passages of moderate
length and the remaining significant portion consisted of critical
reasoning. RC questions were slightly complicated, but the reasoning part
was relatively easy.
A try of more than 14 questions and high accuracy could
result in an impressive percentile.
DM section was medium difficulty. It contained
case-lets along with case studies mostly focused on ethical issues of
functional areas of small and large companies. The sets were simple to
comprehend and concise in length. The questions in relation to DM set were
largely related to context, and the answers seemed very similar in terms.
A try of 12+ questions certainly will result in a great
performance.
GK section is a breeze for candidates who have a solid
understanding of static facts as well as current events. The questions
were based on literature, Geography, History, Art, Economics, Science and
technology. Since there is no punishment for incorrect answer in this
area, you are able to solve these questions using some guesswork, and other
similar techniques.
A test with 14 or more questions does quite well in this
section.
For the essay writing section applicants must select a topic
from two choices. The topics are general and easy to comprehend. With
a solid analytical background and an ability to think creatively, candidates
are able to excel on the essay-writing portion.
On the basis of your XAT score/percentile You will be called
for additional rounds of admission.
