The BSRMS is a 5.5-year undergraduate program. The program consists of a total of 4.5 years of study and one year of internship. The course provides students with knowledge of ancient traditional texts, herbal pharmacology and treatments for a number of diseases, such as osteopathy, diagnostic steps, treatment methods, moxibustion and massage therapy.
Admission to BSRMS is through entrance exams like NEET-UG or university-level exams. It is approved by the Ministry of AYUSH.
