Introduction of Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Radio Frequency Design and Technology
A postgraduate radiography programme is the Master of Technology in Radio Frequency Communications. The curriculum is meant to provide technical skills and knowledge while also enhancing your academic and professional abilities, as well as your analytical and management capabilities.
The course prepares experts in component design and characterization, radiofrequency and high-frequency systems, and propagation channel knowledge.
The course covers digital communication systems, antennas, propagation, and RF hardware design, modulation, coding, protocols, and satellite orbits, as well as telecommunications-related digital hardware and software.
Eligibility Criteria of M.Tech in Radio Frequency Design and Technology
- Students must have received a minimum of 50% in their B.E./B.Tech. or any other similar qualification.
- Admission to some of the world's most reputed universities, institutions, and colleges, an entrance examination is held. After completing 24 earned credits of undergraduate courses as required by the individual programme, visiting students must take the GATE exam and reapply for admission to the M.Tech. Programme.
- M.Sc. candidates are preferred. Candidates with AMIE/grad. with a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60 % marks in aggregate for students General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) can also apply. If an IETE meets the minimal qualifying requirements, it may be considered for admission.
- Direct Full-Time Admission:
B.Tech. / M.Sc. or equivalent with (a) CGPA of 8.5 or 75 percent aggregate marks in the General / OBC category, and CGPA of 7.5 or 70 percent aggregate marks in SC / ST / PD category. For General / OBC, GATE Score > 300 or qualifying score whichever is higher, and for SC / ST / PD, GATE Score > 200 or qualifying score whichever is higher.
Fee Structure & Course Duration M.Tech in Radio Frequency Design and Technology
A two-year programme. Two semesters of academic work and two semesters of project work make up the four-semester M.Tech in radio frequency and design technology programme. During the fourth semester, the curriculum is generally either be project-based, with students completing Major Proj. Part-II, or course-based, with students completing Program & Other Electives & Major Project-III.
Benefits of Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Radio Frequency Design and Technology
The c course is designed in such a way that meets the needs of local employers, allowing you to advance your career or specialize in digital communications. This is especially important today that mobile and satellite communications are used in so many settings worldwide.
This course examines and improves students' abilities to harness technological advancements and comprehend the engineering that underpins them so that you, too, can be a part of the revolution.
The programme provides a theoretical foundation for understanding satellite and cellular radio communications design, implementation, and operation. Students can select the appropriate components for a functioning design using requirements.
30 LPA are some of the biggest wage packages available. The average remuneration package ranges to 20 LPA. 7 LPA is the lowest wage package available. TSMC, Fujikura, Qualcomm, Intel, Texas Instruments, Samsung, and Bosch are among the top hiring firms for roles in design and verification.
Scope of M.Tech in Radio Frequency Design and Technology
They should decipher customer needs and component specifications and develop efficient designs within the constraints of available resources and fundamental physical limitations.
Candidates should also create new waveforms and computer algorithms to interface with cellular systems in actual and simulated contexts.
Students should also know how to create, maintain, and update system baseline documentation and other technical reports.
