The Doctorate of Medicine (MD) program encompasses a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip aspiring medical professionals with a profound understanding of the human body and its intricate workings. The syllabus comprises three main categories: pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects. In the pre-clinical phase, students delve into the realms of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and forensic medicine. The para-clinical subjects expand into community medicine, pharmacology (in greater depth), and specialized areas of pathology. The clinical phase encompasses the study of internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), orthopedics, dermatology, and anesthesiology. Additionally, students have the opportunity to choose electives or specialize in specific areas. The curriculum is enriched by clinical rotations, providing hands-on experience in various medical specialties. Throughout the program, students are also engaged in research, culminating in the completion of a dissertation.
