MES Academy of Medical Sciences was set up in the year 1964 and is located in the Malappuram district of Kerala state. The institute comes under the Muslim educational society. It is a multidisciplinary network of colleges compressing a postgraduate medical college and its teaching hospital with a dental college, nursing college, school of nursing, and the institute of paramedical science. All these educational institutions enjoy minority status under the govt of India. The MES Medical College is the end of an arduous trek of a once beleaguered community from the womb of ignorance, illiteracy and ignominy. Leaving aside the horrors of 1921, the partition of minds in 1947, we hold our hands with the brethren of our fraternal communities and march forward into a new dawn of scientific temper and secular ethos.
