NEET 2026 Preparation

Furthermore, it is well known that students should begin their NEET preparation tips at least two years in advance, due to the extensive syllabus, which spans two years (11th and 12th). However, someone with a good grasp of the core topics and concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can begin actual preparation a year before the exams, i.e., right after starting Year 12. We suggest some NEET 2026 preparation tips that you may not have seen.

  1. Have a deep knowledge of the NEET exam pattern and structure without any gaps – before anything else, being informed about the NEET exam pattern and structure is essential for NEET preparation. Although the NEET exam pattern is outlined in the top section, students are also suggested to have a look at the previous years' question papers of NEET to have a clear idea of the exam structure.
  2. Be sure that you are through with the NEET 2026 syllabus even though the syllabus may not be released – It is likely that the syllabus for NEET 2026 exam will be the same as that of the last year. So, they should go through the NEET syllabus and concentrate on those new areas which they have not read in their Class 11 and Class 12.
  3. Evaluate the areas you are good at and the areas that require attention – Candidates are required to really understand the areas they feel they excel in and those that they are not so good at. The next thing should be planning, keeping in mind the strengths and weaknesses, a revision strategy that will bring about improvement in the weaker areas and a guarantee that the strong areas remain so.
  4. Practice – Along with groundwork, it is of great importance to solve questions from various sources such as NEET mock tests (full length, sectional), the last 10 years’ NEET question papers, test series, etc.
  5. Define your timetable in a written format: To proceed systematically, the most important thing is to come up with a timetable and follow it consistently. The timetable should include the time for each subject study or revision, your daily schedule along with the time for extra-curriculars, time to solve previous year NEET question papers, mock tests, etc.
