The NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted on August 3, 2025, in computer mode. NBE will organise the exam in a single shift at 233 test cities in the country. The exam will start from 9 am and will conclude at 12:30 pm. The NEET PG 2025 admit card has already been released online on July 31, 2025. Candidates have to download admit card from the official website, nbe.edu.in. NEET PG 2025 admit card will have to be downloaded using login credentials. Candidates should bring all the documents, such as a printout of the admit card and one of the identity proofs, to the NEET PG centres 2025. NEET PG 2025 question paper will contain 200 multiple-choice questions, and candidates will be provided with 3.5 hours to respond.
NEET PG 2025 (National Eligibility with Entrance Test for Post Graduation) is conducted to enable admission to various MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country. NEET PG 2025 application form is now available on the official website NBE-nbe.edu.in. NEET PG 2025 registration is an online process and involves five main steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website and register using your name, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 2: Fill in the online application form with personal, academic, internship, and contact details.
Step 3: Upload scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left thumb impression as per the given format.
Step 4: Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.
Step 5: After successful payment, submit the form and download the confirmation page for your records.
Step 6: Use the edit window to correct any mistakes or update images, if needed.
Step 7: Select your preferred exam city during the specified window.
Step 8: Download the admit card when released and appear for the exam on the scheduled date.

The NEET PG 2025 Admit Card will be released online. Candidates must download the NEET PG Admit Card 2025 from the official website. Candidates are advised to check all the details from the NBE official website after downloading the hall ticket. Candidates must print a copy of the admit card and attach a recent passport-size photograph with it. The admit card should be kept till the end of the admission process. The NEET PG 2025 result will be announced by 3 September 2025 on the official websites. The result will be released as a PDF file containing the names, roll numbers, scores, and All India Ranks of the successful candidates.
Individual scorecards of the candidates can be downloaded a few days later, after the announcement of the result, by the candidate logging into the account using the application ID and password. The score is valid for the ongoing academic year and is employed for admission into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. Candidates must score the minimum cutoff percentile (50th percentile for General, 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC, and 45th percentile for PwD candidates) to be eligible. Only eligible candidates may undergo counselling.
Once the result is declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) carries out the NEET PG counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and AFMS institutes. The other 50% state quota seats are dealt with by the concerned state counselling authorities. The steps involved in the NEET PG counselling process are as follows:
Four rounds are generally there: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Guidelines and schedule need to be followed carefully by the candidates to prevent disqualification.
NEET PG will publish NBE 2025 after the publication of the cutoff results. NEET PG cut-off means the minimum possible marks you should get in the entrance exam. Cut-off depends on various factors like the total number of candidates, availability of seats and difficulty level of the exam.
