What is IMU CET?

Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level entrance exam. It is conducted every year in CBT mode for admission to six Indian Maritime University (IMU) campuses. Candidates who wish to join MSc Marine Science, BSc (Marine Science) and BE/BTech (Marine Engineering) courses must register for IMU CET. Candidates can also join MBA and MTech courses through IMU CET or they can apply through CMAT/CAT/MAT and CUET PG/GATE/PGCET score. Preference will be given to candidates with IMU-CET marks. Candidates are therefore encouraged to register for IMU CET. Admission is based on the results of IMU's online counselling process.
