IPMAT 2026 Overview of the Selection Process

A suitable number of candidates will be chosen from the eligible candidate pool. Candidates who do not appear in either the IPMAT written test or PI will be disqualified from consideration in the selection process. From the IPMAT test, IIM Indore will prepare a provisional shortlist of candidates for Personal Interviews. Candidates who appeared for the test are able to check their IPMAT result from the IIM Indore website.

IIM Indore will announce the IPMAT result in the form of a provisional list, and candidates can check the same by using their IPMAT application number and their registered email ID/ DOB.

The steps in the IPMAT 2026 selection process are as follows: To begin with, the candidates are required to register via the online mode first by completing the application form along with the upload of appropriate documents. So, after completing the registration, the entrance exam is conducted, which evaluates candidates’ skills in the nerve-racking field of mathematics, which is also known as quantitative aptitude, verbal skill or ability, and logical reasoning.
