MAT 2025 exam session will commence from the third or last week of February 2025. The exam is held four times a year in various sessions – 1) February, 2) May, 3) September and 4) December. It will be conducted in multiple streams. You can choose the mode of MAT exam as per your convenience. The registration fees for all the streams are the same. The All India Management Association (AIMA) will release the application form in the last week of December 2024.
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). It is conducted four times a year and candidates can choose to take it in computer-based, paper-based or internet-based mode. Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “MAT Registration 2025” link.
Step 3: Fill in the valid email ID and mobile number to apply and receive OTP for verification.
Step 4: Begin with the login process to complete the registration.
Step 5: Select the exam mode, test city options, payment mode, and other details to complete the process.
Step 6: Now upload the scanned documents such as personal, qualifications and experience, and options for management institutes.
Step 7: Pay the online application fee and hit the “Submit” button to proceed further.
Step 8: Print the completed form and keep it in a safe place for further use.
The MAT exam registration fee varies depending on the number of test modes you choose. For a single mode (paper-based, computer-based, or internet-based test), the fee is Rs 2,100. If you opt for two test modes, the fee is Rs 3,300. It is important to note that the application fee can only be paid online through net banking, credit card or debit card.

There is no age limit for MAT exam. However, since the academic qualification is a graduate degree, the age of candidates is usually 20 years or older.
Work experience is not a mandatory eligibility criterion for the MAT Exam. However, it carries additional weight in the selection process of MBA universities that accept the MAT score.

MAT Admit Card 2025 will be issued in the last week of February 2025 for PBT exam and in the first week of March 2025 for CBT exam. Candidates registered for the exam will be able to access the admit card. To download the admit card, candidates will have to use their login credentials such as email and password.
After entering the correct and valid details, the admit card will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to check the details thoroughly after downloading the admit card from the website. It will be downloaded only through online mode, no other offline method will be provided.
Candidates must retain the printout of the admit card as it will be mandatory to carry it to the examination venue. Candidates without a valid MAT admit card will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

AIMA will announce the MAT result 2025 in the month of March 2025 for PBT exam and in the month of April 2025 for CBT exam. Registered candidates will be able to check their MAT 2025 scores on their dashboard. AIMA will announce it in the form of a scorecard.
Candidates will be required to enter their registered ID and password to download the result. It will be available only through online mode. No offline method will be provided to check the result. MAT 2025 result show the overall and sectional percentile of the candidates appearing.

The cut-off score of these institutes will vary based on various factors such as available seats, number of candidates appearing, previous cut-off score, etc.
Candidates who meet the published cut-off score will be called for the GD/PI rounds. The MAT cut-off score is the minimum score that will be required to participate in the admission procedure. It will be based on the overall and sectional percentile of the candidates in the examination.
The counselling process for MAT 2025 will be organised by the various participating institutes. AIMA will not organise any counselling process for the shortlisted candidates. There will be no common MAT counselling process for MBA admission.
Universities accepting MAT scores will have different admission policies for shortlisting candidates for admission to MBA programmes. MAT 2025 counselling will be conducted by over 600 business schools. Based on the MAT score, category and availability of seats in the universities, candidates will be shortlisted for admission.
