MAT eligibility criteria include educational qualification, minimum marks, work experience, and age limit, as prescribed by AIMA. The basic eligibility to appear for MAT is graduation. Know the details of MAT exam eligibility criteria 2025 here.

MAT eligibility criteria 2025 are a set of academic requirements that MBA aspirants must fulfill to be eligible for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for MAT are the same as other MBA entrance exams. The good thing is that there is no minimum score requirement. Candidates having passed marks in Graduation can appear in MAT. However, colleges that accept MAT scores may have a minimum score requirement, so it is best to score at least 50 percent marks in graduation to pursue a full-time MBA from a reputed institute.

The MAT exam is conducted four times a year – February, May, September, and December. MAT scores are accepted by over 700 B-schools across the country for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Those planning to take the MAT 2025 exam must ensure that they fulfill the MAT exam eligibility criteria to be able to apply. Candidates can take the exam in any of the three modes of their choice – Internet-Based Test (IBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT), or Paper-Based Test (PBT) and the MAT exam eligibility criteria 2025 for all three modes are the same. There is no limit on the number of attempts to take the exam. The score of the latest MAT attempt will be taken into account for MBA admissions.

Work experience can give an idea of your actual knowledge, technical skills, and experience in the industry; which is a step forward to get admission into the management program you are targeting.

Attempt Limit

There is no limit on the number of attempts to take the exam, so candidates are eligible to take it irrespective of their attempts in previous sessions. The score of the latest attempt will be taken into account for admission.
