  1. Exam Mode - The exam will be conducted in CBT mode, wherein the candidates will be allotted systems to take the exam.
  2. Test Paper Language - All NEST questions will be in the English language only.
  3. Type of Questions - The NEST question papers will be objective type, i.e. multiple choice and candidates will have to blacken the correct option in the OMR sheet.
  4. Total Number of Questions - The total number of questions to be solved is 70, divided into five sections.
  5. Total Marks - The results will be evaluated out of 180 marks for the 'best three' of the general section and subject sections.
