NEST as National Entrance Screening Test 2025 is one of the most important selection test for the purpose of admission into various integrated M.Has and M.Sc. courses in renowned institutes including NISER, UM-DAE CEBS among others The process of NEST 2025 is composed of a series of stages which include Written Test in multiple subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Questions related to facets of the aforementioned subjects are asked. Candidates who pass the exam are subsequently able to go through other stages like counseling and Seat Allocation. As mentioned above, the NEST 2025 selection process will consist of one single test and there will later be a counselling procedure for those who qualify the test. The test is aimed at assessing the soundness of a candidate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Based on the comparisons among candidate’s performance in the written test, a few of them are chosen for counseling. The selection of students at the end is made in consideration of the achieved score in the examination, the categorywise reservation and the vacant or available seat(s).
They will be integrated into M.Sc. programs at NISER or UM-DAE CEBS according to the preferences they have expressed during counselling.
