TANCET 2025 Result Dates

TANCET 2025 Results: Calculation of Score

Candidates can examine under the grading scheme set by the examination authority for various subjects.

1. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark
2. For each incorrect answer, 1/3 marks are deducted
3. For choosing multiple options as the answer, 1/3 marks are deducted

TANCET Result 2025: What is Normalisation of Marks?

From the 2023 exam session, the TANCET exam will be conducted for MBA and MCA courses only. Mark preparation is not required for TANCET MBA and MCA courses as the exam is conducted in one shift. Candidates who have appeared in the Tamil Nadu Level Examination for ME/MTech/MArch/Planning courses i.e. CEETA PG will focus on the correction of marks in the first two stages of the examination.

Marks will be made for ME/MTech/Mars/MPlan only. The question paper of the entrance exam is divided into three parts - the first part (technical mathematics), the second part (technical and basic science), and the third part (various subjects). The first and second phases are common to all programs, while the third phase varies by course. As a result, the mean score and standard deviation differ according to the fields in the third section. Candidates will be called for counseling based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam. Applicants will be notified in a letter of recommendation regarding admission and counseling procedures. The study/practice center will be given as per the candidate's preference.
