The eligibility criteria for UPCET may be slightly different depending on the particular course you opt for. The following are the common eligibility conditions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses available through UPCET.
Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian citizen. NRI candidates and foreign nationals can also apply for the specified seats reserved for them.
Age Limit: No age limit is required to seek admission in the majority of undergraduate courses. But for admission to the first year of B.Arch., the candidate should have attained the age of 17 years as of December 31 of the year of admission.
Educational Qualifications:
Tech/B.Pharm: The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Arch: Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics as a mandatory subject and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B.Des: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream.
Nationality: The candidates should be Indian citizens. NRI candidates and foreign nationals may also apply for some seats reserved for them.
Age Limit: There is no age restriction for postgraduate courses.

The UPCET 2026 application correction facility will be opened online once the application process is over. The facility will be offered for two to three days and will be held in a separate process for CUET UG and PG courses.

UPCET 2026 Answer Key for both CUET UG & PG exams shall be published separately on the website of National Testing Agency. The answer key shall be available online to the candidates. The provisional answer key shall be published first.
The candidates can object to any disparity identified in the UPCET answer key. The final answer key will be released on the website after evaluating all objections raised. Both the final and provisional answer keys will be in PDF format.
The UPCET 2026 result will be uploaded online in the last week of April 2026 for CUET PG and in the last week of June 2026 for CUET UG exams. The candidates must keep their login details handy to view the result on the official website.
To download the UPCET result, candidates will be required to provide their application number and date of birth. The result will be generated based on the final answer key and will contain information such as candidate name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, and qualification status. A printed copy of the result must be kept secure for the counselling process.
The UPCET 2026 cutoff scores will be posted online, and the candidates can check them on the official website. These cutoff scores denote the minimum scores one needs to pass in the exam.
Several conditions affect the cutoff, which involves the number of candidates appearing, seats available, the level of difficulty of the exam, and the cutoff marks of previous years. Only candidates who achieve or surpass the cutoff marks will be qualified to attend the counselling sessions.
The counselling for UPCET 2026 is scheduled for July 2026 and will be held online. Candidates whose names feature in the merit list will go ahead with the counselling. Counselling will take place according to the UPCET rank, and candidates will be invited for final admission as per the same.
