Latest Update for JEE Main Exam
Candidates will be able to check the JEE Main 2025 exam dates soon after it is released on the official website. NTA is expected to announce the JEE Main 2025 exam dates in October 2024. Candidates will be able to start JEE Main 2025 registration in the first week of November 2024. Those who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or are appearing for the exam can register for the JEE Mains exam. NTA will conduct NTA JEE 2025 in two sessions - January and April. JEE Main exam date 2025 for both sessions will be available through the official notification. The authority will conduct the IIT JEE 2025 exam in online mode.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is an all-India common engineering entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and previously conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission. to undergraduate programs, BE, B.Tech, and B.Arch at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating state governments, and several other institutions.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 is a crucial national-level engineering entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2025 exam dates. JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled from January 22 to 31, 2025, while Session 2 will take place from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 application form for Session 1 is currently open. JEE Main 2025 will have equal weightage of 33.3% questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 30 questions will be asked from each subject, out of which 25 have to be answered. However, within the subject, some topics have more weightage than others. Candidates are advised to focus more on high-weightage topics, which have been asked more frequently in the last few years. National Testing Agency NTA will make the JEE Mains 2025 exam city slip available at least a week before the exam. The link to download the JEE Main Advanced city notification will be available online at jeemain.nta.ac.in. To download the JEE Mains exam city slip notification, candidates need to enter their application number, date of birth, and course. The Advanced exam city for JEE Main exam 2025 also includes IIT JEE exam date information. Please keep in mind that the city information slip is not the same as the admit card.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Mains Hall Ticket 2025 online on the website about 2-3 days before the exam date. The direct link to download the JEE Mains Admit Card 2025 will be provided on this page. The JEE 2025 Admit Card link will also be available on the official website of JEE Mains Hall Ticket 2025. The admit card will mention the exam date and time, exam center address, and basic information like the candidate's name, photo, signature, and exam day instructions.
It is advised that candidates must review all the information on their admit card after downloading the NTA JEE Main Admit Card 2025. Candidates should contact the exam authority in case of any discrepancy in the admit card. Candidates must carry a photo ID card along with the JEE Main 2025 admit card to the exam hall. Candidates must download and take a printout of their JEE Mains 2025 admit card.
NTA will release the JEE Main Answer Key 2025 a few days after the exam ends. Candidates need to log in to the website using their application number and date of birth to download the JEE Main exam answer key. The answer key will contain the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam.
NTA will first release the provisional answer key. If students are not satisfied with any answer, they can also challenge the answers in the provisional key. Students can submit their complaints online within the specified dates. The complaints submitted by the candidates will be reviewed by NTA after which the JEE Mains final answer key will be released.

The JEE Mains Exam result 2025 will be declared around 1 week after the exam is over. NTA will release the JEE Main scorecard online on the website. Candidates will have to log in to the website to download their JEE Main 2025 results.
Candidates will have to log in to the JEE Mains 2025 result online check link using their application number and date of birth to view their scorecard. The JEE Main 2025 result will contain details of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in each subject and the total percentage marks.

To get admission in premium engineering colleges in India, candidates have to participate in JEE Main exam counselling, commonly known as JOSAA. The registration for this will start after the declaration of JEE Advanced result. The tentative date for JEE Main counselling registration will be in June 2025. Candidates have to fill in their choices within the given schedule.
JEE Main cutoff is the minimum percentile score that candidates have to score to qualify to appear in JEE Advanced. JEE Main cutoff is different for different categories. Candidates should note that students do not need to score any minimum marks or cutoff to pass the JEE Main exam 2025. The marks obtained by candidates in JEE Main decide the All India Rank and admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs is solely based on the All India Rank. JEE Main cutoff is only for appearing in JEE Advanced.
