JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2025 - NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website. Students will be able to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria 2025 to know the minimum conditions required to appear in the entrance exam from this page. The eligibility includes educational qualification, JEE age limit, nationality, marks in class 12, JEE Mains required percentage, compulsory subjects and more. Applicants who are appearing or have passed class 12th/equivalent in 2023, 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2025. There is no age limit for candidates appearing in JEE Main 2025. Failing to meet any of the requirements will disqualify candidates from the JEE Main exam. JEE Mains Eligibility criteria must be met for admission to various colleges that accept NTA JEE scores.

There is no age limit for JEE Main. Any student who has passed class 12th or its equivalent examination in the year 2023 and 2024 or appearing in 2025 can apply for IIT Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria.
There is no minimum Class 12 marks required to appear for the JEE Main exam. However, candidates must score a minimum of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and some premium colleges. Irrespective of your JEE Main rank or percentile, JEE Main eligibility marks in Class 12 are required to get admission. Also, JEE Main eligibility marks in Class 12 remain the same for SC and ST.

NITs/IIITs/GFTIs Admission: Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% criteria in JEE Mains 2024, or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates).
