The June 18 exam consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. There are score tiebreakers according to subject and age. The counselling process for admission to paramedical courses in ABVMU, SGPGIMS, KGMU and UPUMS will begin soon. Candidates should stay updated and keep the required documents with them.
The UP CPET 2025 exam, which consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions based on subject-matter knowledge, was conducted offline on June 18, 2025. Both Hindi and English versions of the question were available. There was no deduction for wrong answers, and the applicant received one mark for each question that was answered correctly. As a result, candidates could answer the questions without worrying about facing the consequences.
To break the tie, candidates securing equal marks in the entrance exam will be evaluated as per their marks in each subject, with preference given to Biology. If there is a tie a second time, the highest marks in Chemistry will be considered first, followed by Physics. If the tie persists, Class 12 grades in the preferred order of Biology, Chemistry and Physics will be taken into account. If that fails to be a tie, merit will be given based on age.
The UP CPET medical process is about to begin. These applicants should check this official website for updates on the counselling schedule, choice filling, seat distribution and reporting dates. Admission will be determined based on merit, as per the preferences expressed during the counselling round. All shortlisted candidates must keep the following required documents with them: CPET scorecard, academic certificates, identity, passport size photographs, residence certificate and, if appropriate, caste certificate.
Now that the results are available, candidates must act as quickly as possible to avoid missing out on any important information regarding the counselling process. This is very important to get admission in some of the best paramedical schools in Uttar Pradesh.
