AFCAT 2 Application Last Date: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will close the door for the AFCAT 2 process today, 1st July 2025. Aspirants who have not yet submitted their AFCAT 2 Application Form 2025 must complete it on the official website afcat.cdac.in with immediate effect to avoid any last-minute issues. The AFCAT 2 recruitment drive is offering a total of 284 vacancies across various branches, including Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical).
As of now, there is no official word on the extension of the AFCAT 2 application date. However, the Indian Air Force has in the past few years extended the deadline by a few days due to technical glitches or high demand. Hence, the AFCAT 2 application deadline may be thus extended. However, a final announcement is expected soon.
AFCAT 2 registration is to be done online on the official website. Candidates who have not applied yet can check the steps given below to complete the AFCAT 2 application form:
Step 1: Go to the official website at afcat.cdac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, scroll and click on the ‘Apply Now’ link
Step 3: Complete the AFCAT 2 registration by entering the required details
Step 4: Log in with the credentials and fill in all the necessary information
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form
Once the AFCAT application window closes, chances are that there will be a correction facility for the candidates. During the AFACT 2 correction facility time frame, candidates can only correct two sections: ‘Fill Application Form’ and ‘Upload Document’. These two sections allow them to modify specific details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, passport-size photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
The correction of any other field has been made beyond these changes. It is important to point out that there is no fee charged for making such corrections. The AFCAT 2 application correction facility is available to those who have successfully registered and paid the application fee.
