The AIBE 19 Exam is a comprehensive exam that is based on a paper pattern that is made to check the knowledge and understanding of the candidates of different legal subjects. The test is made up of various questions from different topics like Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, and Legal Ethics, to name a few

Three or five LLB graduates are eligible for the exam. In addition, they must register with the bar association of the state, preferably where they intend to practice law. Those who hold a degree or certificate in law and are not registered with the state bar are not eligible for AIBE.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) started conducting the 2011 All India Bar Examination for all law graduates who obtained their law degrees in 2009-2010. AIBE's goal is for the Bar Council to assess the fundamental influencing skills of law graduates. Those who pass the exam will receive a "Practice Certificate". As a result, it is required for all law graduates who want to practice as lawyers or advocates in India.
