Assam NEET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result has been announced on August 18, 2025, by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam. As many as 3,122 applicants have found their names in the list. But a few candidates were not allotted seats as no choices were available.
The provisionally shortlisted candidates are required to report at the institute allotted to them between August 22 and August 23, 2025, to finalise the admission process. The PWD category candidates are required to report along with the concerned original certificates at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on August 20, 2025, for the disability verification process.

The applicants should remember that the seat has been booked at the provisional stage and is dependent upon the fulfilment of eligibility criteria and document verification. They should go to the respective institutes with original documents and INR 25,000. The original documents should be submitted to the institutes upon receiving an acknowledgement from the institute authorities.
DME Assam published the revised merit list for Assam NEET 2025 Counselling on July 15, 2025. As many as 19,823 candidates have been included in the list, compared to 19,809 candidates listed in the provisional merit list. The result was originally set for release on August 6, 2025, but was delayed because the announcement of the MCC NEET 2025 counselling was rescheduled.
