The registration of students for admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts programme at various government-run colleges of fine arts through Kerala Entrance Examinations will begin on the 7th of July. The four-year BFA program will be conducted jointly by three institutions (College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikkara, and College of Fine Arts, Thrissur) and will begin on the 15th of July.
The various seats for BFA in Kerala are distributed differently. The College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, and the Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts, Mavelikkara, each propose 50 seats for the course, whereas the College of Fine Arts, Thrissur, has 57 seats available for the academic year 2025.
Post the foundational course in the first year, the students choose their specializations only in the second year subject to their performance in academics. Additionally, the Thrissur college runs a 7-seater Art History and Visual Studies stream available to freshers starting this year.
The officials have recently rolled out a new announcement to the public that the registration for BFA admission 2025 has been extended until June 25, 2025. The students who are interested in admission are required not to wait to fill out the BFA admission last date 2025 and should complete the form as soon as possible. The participants who would like to be part of the event and exam can recheck their applications on June 26, 2025. Members who have not registered themselves yet will not be given the provision to sit for the entrance examination which is confirmed to be held on June 29, 2025.
