The Commission has confirmed that the BPSC Prelims will take place on September 13 and has criticized social media accounts and coaching centers for spreading false information about the exam postponement.
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has rejected the allegations that the BPSC 71st CCE Prelims 2025 will be postponed. In a press release posted on the microblogging platform X, the Commission reiterated that the BPSC Prelims will take place on September 13 and criticized coaching centers and social media accounts for promoting false information about the exam's postponement.
The Commission categorically rejected the rumors as false and misleading. It reaffirmed that official press releases, its verified "X" (formerly Twitter) account, and its official website will be the only channels used to announce any exam postponements. The announcement states that, in accordance with previous practices, candidates will have enough time to download their BPSC Prelims admit cards and obtain information about their testing districts and locations.
Candidates were also advised by the Commission to be on the lookout for false information and refrain from depending on unofficial sources. The Commission had previously been notified of complaints claiming that some coaching institutes' model papers and its exam questions were identical. It responded by vehemently refuting these claims and calling them wholly untrue and deceptive.
