BSEB Extends Class 12 Board Exam 2026 Registration Deadline Till November 6

The board has requested all school principals and heads of institutions to complete the registration process for their students within the extended deadline.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has once again extended the registration deadline for the Class 12 (Intermediate) board examinations 2026. According to the latest update shared on X (formerly Twitter), the registration process will now remain open until November 6, 2025.

The board has requested all school principals and heads of institutions to complete the registration process for their students within the extended deadline. They have also been instructed to verify the dummy registration cards of all registered students and make necessary corrections before final submission.

The BSEB tweet (translated from Hindi) states: "For appearing in the Annual Secondary Examination, 2027 (Session 2026-2027) - (i) The period for filling online registration/permission applications with a late fee has been extended from 23.10.2025 to 06.11.2025 and (ii) Students whose registration/permission applications have been filled by 20.10.2025 or will be filled during the period from 23.10.2025 to 06.11.2025 will have to download a declaration form for the accuracy and verification of their details by the student, parents/guardians, and the principal of the educational institution."

The Bihar Board has clarified that this extension has been granted to facilitate students who were unable to complete the registration process earlier. The board has also instructed schools whose recognition has been suspended or is under review to complete the registration of their eligible students within the extended deadline. Failure to do so may prevent those students from appearing in the Intermediate Examination 2026.

Students are advised to re-check all the details on their dummy registration cards, such as their name, date of birth, subject combination, and category. Any discrepancies should be rectified immediately through their respective schools to avoid any problems at the time of admit card issuance.
