CAT 2024: Final Exam Details and Guidelines for 24 November

CAT 2024 Exam: The CAT exam 2024 will be held on November 24, 2024, in three sessions. It will be a computer-based test that will be conducted in over 170 cities across India. To take the exam, candidates need to download the CAT 2024 admit card, which is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2024.

The CAT score can be used for admission to 21 IIMs and other MBA colleges in India. Every year, one of the top six IIMs conducts the exam on a rotational basis. For CAT 2024, IIM Calcutta will conduct the exam.

CAT 2024 exam Guidelines

1. Admit Card: Download your admit card from the official website (https://iimcat.ac.in/) and bring two copies to the exam centre.
2. ID Proof: Bring a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driver's license, or voter ID).
3. Dress Code: Wear simple clothes and avoid fancy outfits, headgear, veils, caps, or any other hair accessories.
4. Footwear: Wear simple footwear like slippers or flip-flops.
5. Items Allowed:
1. Transparent water bottle
2. Simple pen
6. Items Not Allowed:
1. Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, etc.)
2. Bags
3. Books or notes
4. Any stationery items other than a pen

Additional Tips for CAT Exam:

1. Practice: Solve previous year's papers and mock tests to get familiar with the exam pattern and time management.
2. Time Management: Practice time management techniques to ensure you can attempt all sections within the given time limit.
3. Stay Calm: Stay calm and focused during the exam.
