1. First of all, you need to understand that you cannot solve all the questions in CAT. So you better focus on the questions you can solve.
2. Every section of CAT 2024 will be of 40 minutes and as soon as the time is over, the screen will move to the next section. So, keep saving your answers.
3. Glance through all the questions in the section and see which ones can you attempt. This approach applies to Quants and DILR. In VARC, you will have to read the passages.
4. Read the passages and keep noting down points that you think are important. You can try reading the questions first and the passage later. But for this approach, have enough practice before the exam. You can do it in these last few days before the CAT 2024 to see if this approach is good for you or not.
5. The next important tip is to choose the questions wisely. If the questions belong to your strong areas, attempt it, if not, leave it.
6. Don’t spend too much time on a question. If you are facing a challenge in a problem ‘save it for later’ and move to the next question. You can come back to it later if time permits.
7. Do not mark any option, if you’re not sure of it. Accuracy is the key here and you cannot take the risk of negative marking.
8. Aim to solve 2/3rd of the questions in each section. Attempt more if the sectional time limit permits.
