CAT 2024 Registration Closes Today: Form Correction Window Opening Soon

CAT 2024 application forms are expected to end today. The deadline for submission of the form along with the fee is 5:00 PM. Candidates should submit the CAT 2024 application form or pay the fee at the earliest, as there will not be further extension.

The CAT 2024 registration process was from August 1, 2024, and it went up to September 13, 2024. However, the last date has been extended by a week. The CAT form correction window is likely to open between September 21 and September 24, 2024. IIM Calcutta, the conducting institute for the examination, will declare the exact dates of form correction soon.

CAT 2024 Registration and Application Process

The registration fee for the Unreserved category students is INR 2500 and for Reserved category students, it is INR 1250. All those students who were already registered for the CAT 2024 exam can simply log in with their credentials fill up the form and pay the fees. The procedure to apply for the CAT exam is shown below:

1. Visit the official website of CAT 2024: iimcat.ac.in
2. Click on 'new candidate registration'
3. Enter your name, date of birth, nationality and more details.
4. Authentication will be done using an OTP.
5. Once the authentication is done, use the OTP for registration and get logged in the application form
6. Enter personal and academic details
7. Upload a passport-size photograph and scanned signature
8. You can choose your preferred IIMs, courses and cities of tests
9. Payment of the application fee of CAT by using a debit/credit card or net banking

CAT 2024 will be taken on November 24, 2024. The CAT 2024 test will be conducted in three slots and in more than 375 test centres across the whole of India. The CAT admit card 2024 will be issued from November 5, 2024. Besides, the official CAT mock test and navigation guide by the conduction body would be published before the date of the examination.
