CAT 2025 Exam Fee Revised for All Categories – Registration Starts August 1

The CAT 2025 exam fee has been revised again. It has been increased for both General and SC/ST/PwD candidates. See here for more details.

The CAT 2025 exam fees have also increased this year. According to the CAT 2025 notification released today, the CAT fee is INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee amount has been increased by INR 100 for General category candidates and INR 50 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Last year, the CAT exam fee was INR 2,500 for the General category and INR 1,250 for the SC/ST/PwD category. It is worth noting that CAT exam fees are revised annually.

CAT 2025 Notification Released

Today, IIM Kozhikode released the official notification for CAT 2025, announcing the exam date: November 30, 2025. The CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three shifts, as in previous years, across approximately 170 cities in India. According to the PDF of the notification, the exam format and syllabus remain unchanged. The registration process for CAT 2025 will begin on August 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and end on September 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Key Points About CAT Fee Payment

1. The CAT 2025 exam fee must be paid by credit/debit card or online banking.
2. The CAT 2025 exam fee must be paid when submitting the application form.
3. Candidates can complete the form early and pay the fee later, but must do so before the CAT 2025 registration deadline.
4. After the application deadline, the fee cannot be paid and the application will be cancelled.
5. The CAT exam fee is non-refundable, and no refund will be given to any candidate under any circumstances.
