The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit cards for Class 10 and 12 board theory exams. Schools can download the CBSE Board 2025 admit card from the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
The beginning of the board exams 2025 at the CBSE level is scheduled to start from the 15th of February. There is consideration of competitive exams for drafting the current timetable like dates for JEE Mains, and NEET.
This year, the board released the CBSE board date sheet almost 86 days before the examination. According to the schedule, CBSE secondary school (class 10) examinations will start on February 15 and conclude on March 18, 2025. The CBSE senior school exam (class 12) will begin on February 15, and conclude on April 4, 2025.

Schools will also inform the students regarding the date to collect the admit card from the school. All Class 10, and 12 students should collect the CBSE admit cards 2025 by February 14, 2025.
This year, the CBSE has made some changes to improve the examination process for students. One of the major changes is the reduction in short and long response-type questions, which will help strengthen the emphasis on analytical and critical thinking.
Weightage for internal assessment has been enhanced and now, for 40 per cent of total marks, with the remaining 60 per cent weightage on the board exams. There is an addition of the 75 per cent attendance compulsion for all the students along with the possibility of exemptions when it is against a student's interest due to health reasons or some other acceptable grounds for their involvement in extra-curricular activities or any other legitimate reason.
To ensure better security and more transparency during exams, the board has also demanded that CCTV cameras be installed in every examination hall.
