CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that linking APAAR ID will be mandatory for students wishing to appear for CBSE Board Exams 2026 from classes 9 to 12. Students will have to mandatorily create APAAR ID from the academic year 2026. Also, the authorities have revised the examination fee and CBSE exam 2025 registration fee for candidates willing to appear for the board exams. The board has revised the CBSE exam fee for students from India, Nepal, and other foreign countries. Meanwhile, the authorities will set up an AI-powered digital experience center to improve accessibility of educational content.
During the CBSE Governing Body meeting, schools will have to link the APAAR ID of students to their records so that they can access the documents. This will be necessary while registering students in class 9 and 11 and preparing the List of Candidates (LOC) for class 10 and 12. Schools have been asked to collect the APAAR ID from students before the registration process begins.
