CBSE has stressed that no students will be permitted to register during the List of Candidates (Local) submission for board exams next year.
CBSE Board Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a directive to all schools, mandating the registration of 100% of students in classes 9 and 11 by the final deadline of October 16, 2024, without incurring a late fee. Schools must complete this registration process online through the Parisha Sangam portal, accessible on the CBSE's official website.
CBSE has stressed that no students will be permitted to register during the List of Candidates (LOCAL) submission for board examinations next year. This policy change addresses ongoing issues where schools failed to register students during the specified period and attempted to add them later. Common excuses for missed registrations —such as student hospitalizations, clerical errors, technical glitches, and students being out of station—will no longer be accepted, according to the board.
The board has warned that any mistakes made during the registration process will be taken seriously, urging schools to ensure that all eligible students are registered before the deadline to prevent complications during the board examination phase.
According to the schedule, registration for CBSE classes 9 and 11 will conclude on October 16 without a late fee. Should schools fail to meet this deadline, a late fee of INR 2,300 will be enforced. All payments must be made online, as CBSE guidelines specify that offline payments or direct bank deposits will not be accepted.
Schools are reminded that failure to register students within the specified timeframe could lead to serious repercussions, including the disqualification of students from sitting for their board examinations. CBSE’s firm stance emphasizes the importance of timely registrations and accountability in the educational process.
