CBSE has released the application dates for CBSE Class 10th, 12th Result Answer Sheet Re-evaluation and Verification on its official website cbse.gov.in. CBSE Revaluation 2025 Dates OUT

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE 10, 12 Result 2025 online on May 13, 2025. The results were declared for students who appeared for the exam at several exam centres across India and abroad. However, students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets. CBSE Revaluation 2025 Date

New Guidelines by CBSE for Revaluation and Post-Result Grievance Redressal Processes

The CBSE board has introduced a new system of post-result activities to be carried out by the board in the academic year 2024-25. The earlier system was a three-step linear process followed by verification of marks by the students, then obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet, ending with the re-evaluation of the final answer sheet. In this system, candidates who have applied for the process have to follow the steps chronologically to proceed to the next step.

However, the revised system follows the mentioned protocol, which allows smooth post-result activities to satisfy the needs of the students:

1. Obtaining a Photocopy of the evaluated answer book
2. Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both

As per the new system, students can apply for re-evaluation after getting a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet. Now, students can directly apply for re-evaluation and/or verification after getting the photocopy.

How to Obtain a Photocopy of Evaluated CBSE Answer Sheets?

Candidates who want to get their CBSE exam 2025 answer sheet re-checked or re-evaluated must first apply to get a photocopy of the checked or evaluated answer sheet online. The applications will open on the official website of the CBSE board, where the link will be activated in a few days. Students can follow the given steps to apply to get their CBSE evaluated answer sheets online:

1. Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in
2. On the landing page, click on the ‘Results’ tab
3. You will be redirected to results.cbse.nic.in
4. On the homepage, in the ‘Latest News’ ribbon, click on the ‘Apply for Answer Book’ link.
5. On the new login window, log in using your CBSE credentials.
6. Pay the processing fee per subject.

The board will send the evaluated copy of the CBSE answer sheet to the students. To prevent any possibility of cheating or harassment, the board blocks or hides any information related to the identity of the examiner or evaluator as a regulatory protocol.

Guidelines and Important Instructions 

These are the important structures and guidelines for students to obtain scanned photocopies of evaluated answer sheets, verification of marks and re-evaluation of answer sheets. Students must keep the following details in mind while applying for getting evaluation of  CBSE answer sheets online, re-evaluation and verification of marks:

General Instructions

1. The entire process of applying for a photocopy, re-evaluation and verification is online. No offline or alternate mode will be used other than the link available on the official website. 
2. No application will be accepted after the last date of submission. Only online payment options like credit/debit card/net banking will be allowed. 
3. No payment should be made through postal order/DD/money order/cheque/cash, etc.
4. Only one time application is allowed. The student must have complete knowledge about the subject(s) for which he/she is applying online on the CBSE portal.
5. If there is any change in the total of answers and marks, the students will have to surrender the Mark Statement cum Certificate they have, after which a new certificate will be issued to them.
6. All online processing fees are non-refundable.
