CBSE Date Sheet 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education, the board has released CBSE Exam Dates 2025 for both Class 10 and Class 12. According to the official CBSE Date Sheet 2025, the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2025 will begin on 15th February and will conclude on 18th March 2025, whereas the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025 will start on 15th February and will conclude on 4th April 2025.

Why was CBSE Date Sheet 2025 released early?

The board has issued the CBSE Date Sheet 2025 on the official website, i.e. cbse.gov.in. For the first time ever, CBSE Class 10, 12 Time Table 2025 is being released 86 days in advance before conducting the Board Exam 2025. In addition to the detailed CBSE timetable for 2025, the Board has also provided the reasons for issuing the timetable in advance.

The Board, in the official notification, said, "For the first time, the date sheets have been issued nearly 86 days before the start of the examinations. Also, when compared with the date of the issue of the date sheet of examinations-2024, this year, the date sheets have been issued 23 days in advance. This may perhaps have been possible because of the timely submission of LOC by the schools.".

In the notification, the Board highlighted several benefits of the early release of the CBSE date sheet 2025. The advantages are as follows which are mentioned below:

It will help students gain advanced preparation for their examinations, so students shall be able to reduce examination anxiety, and accordingly, show improvement in the results.
The families of the students appearing in the examinations and the teachers will be able to make their visits during the summer vacations keeping in view the examination dates and the schedule of the evaluation process.
Teachers will not be out of the school for a longer time. Hence, the studies of the non-board classes will not be affected.
The schools will be able to make proper planning for the Board classes.
Schools designated as an examination centre will have enough time to schedule activities for their schools. Date sheets are available and downloadable from the official website of the CBSE, ie, cbse gov.in.
