CBSE will begin providing digital copies of their migration certificates to Class 10 and 12 students starting this academic year. Those who require physical copies can apply through the Duplicate Academic Document System.
According to the latest reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education will officially stop providing hard copies of migration certificates. This will apply to Class 10 and 12 students starting this academic year.
According to reports, physical copies of migration certificates will now be replaced by digital copies available through DigiLocker. It should be noted that other documents, including mark sheets, are already available to students on the DigiLocker app.
According to available data, out of 1,704,367 students who appeared for the Class 12 exams, only 38,386 students applied for a physical copy of their migration certificate, indicating that most students are opting for digital copies.
With the digital transition, students will no longer have to pay extra to obtain a migration certificate. The board will upload the migration certificate to DigiLocker, which students can access through their candidate login. However, it is important to note that those who require a physical copy of their migration certificate can apply for one through the CBSE Duplicate Academic Document System.
