CCMT 2025 Special Round Counselling Registration Begins – Fill Choices by July 17

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal has now opened the window for registration for Centralised Counselling for MTech, MArch, and MPlan (CCMT) 2025 special round counselling. Those who are eligible may register for the CCMT special round counselling 2025 online through the official website ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

July 15 is the last date to apply for the CCMT 2025 special round counselling. The institute is holding the CCMT 2025 special round of counselling to bring in those seats which are vacant after the regular rounds are over. A tentative vacant seat list for the SR has been released on the CCMT website.

During the CCMT 2025 special round registration process, candidates shall also have the facility to fill and lock their institute and programme preferences. The preferences filled during this exercise shall be taken into account for seat allotment in the special rounds. July 17 is the last date for exercising the CCMT 2025 special round choice filling.

Who is eligible for the CCMT 2025 special round counselling?

Candidates eligible to register for the Special Rounds fall into one of the following four categories:

Type 1: Those candidates who did not register for the CCMT regular rounds but are otherwise eligible can join the CCMT special rounds.

Type 2: Candidates who registered in the regular rounds and were already allotted a seat—be it with or without reporting, irrespective of whether such candidates have withdrawn later or not—are qualified to join the special rounds by performing fresh registration and choice filling.

If such candidates get enrolled in their ultimately allotted institute and don't withdraw, their current seat will be retained in case of no new seat allocation during special rounds. But if a new seat is allocated, the old seat will be cancelled.

Type 3: Those candidates who participated in the general rounds but were not allotted any seats are also eligible to take part in the special rounds. They will need to register anew and provide a new set of preferences.

Type 4: Candidates who have been given a seat in the general rounds but whose seat is withdrawn at document verification can also take part in the special rounds as long as they still meet the eligibility requirements. They will have to register all over again and fill out their options again.
