CAT 2024 Result 

The CAT result 2024 is likely to be declared soon. IIM Calcutta will declare the CAT scorecards of 2.93 lakh candidates in online mode. The CAT 2024 result will be downloadable on the iimcat.ac.in website. There is no official announcement regarding the date of the CAT result. Still, it has been noticed that the scorecards come out within 15-20 days after the exam. So, candidates can expect the CAT 2024 result to come out by December 15, 2024.

The CAT 2024 exam was conducted on November 24, 2024, across three shifts. Around 2.93 lakh candidates reported for the exam at more than 380 test centres present in 170 cities located in India. The difficulty level of the CAT 2024 question paper overall was moderate and there was no surprise question. The CAT 2024 answer sheet and answer key were released by IIM Calcutta on December 3, 2024. The objection window was open up to December 5, 2024.

The CAT 2024 result will be available online. Only through the online mode will the candidates be able to download the CAT result 2024 following the steps given below.

1. Go to iimcat.ac.in website
2. Click on the 'scorecard download' tab.
3. Enter CAT 2024 ID and password.
4. Find the window of the CAT 2024 scorecard.
5. Download the CAT scorecard as a PDF.

What After the CAT Result 2024?

After the declaration of the CAT result, IIMs along with other B-Schools will begin the PI shortlisting process for MBA admissions. The application window for some of the top MBA colleges is still open. After knowing their CAT percentile, test takers should start applying to the college of their choice for admission. As the PI-GD-WAT round is usually conducted by the MBA colleges between February and April, they should also begin preparing for the same.
