CISCE Issues Key Guidelines for ICSE, ISC Exams 2025

The official ICSE Date Sheet 2025 declares that CISCE 10th Exams 2025 will be scheduled from February 18 to March 27, 2025. On the other hand, ISC Exam 2025 will held from February 13, to April 5, 2025. Check important instructions on the day of exams released by the Board regarding the conduct of ICSE Board Exam 2025 and ISC Board Exam 2025.

ISC, ICSE Board Exam 2025 Dates OUT! The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the official exam dates of ISC Board Exam 2025 and ICSE Board Exam 2025. The official ICSE Date Sheet 2025 reveals that CISCE 10th Exams 2025 will held from February 18 to March 27, 2025. In contrast, ISC Exam 2025 will take place from February 13, to April 5, 2025.

In the official notice, the Board has informed that ICSE Result 2025 and ISC Result 2025 will be announced in the month of May 2025. While ICSE dates 2025, CISCE has also released some important instructions to be followed by candidates during ICSE Board Exam 2025/ISC Board Exam 2025.

ISC, ICSE Board Exam 2025: Important Instructions

Here are some important Instructions/ guidelines for Candidates appearing for ISC, ICSE Board Exam 2025:

  1. Sit in the Examination Hall / Room thirty minutes before the time set for the commencement of the examination in the subject. One must be absolutely punctual.
  2. You are not permitted to go out of the Examination Hall / Room before the end of the paper.
  3. If an Examination Paper for which you are not entered is handed to you or if the questions indicate that a map or any other stationery should also have been given to you, bring this to the attention of the Supervising Examiner immediately.
  4. Read carefully any general direction that may be given on the first page of a question paper, e.g., regarding the number of questions that should be attempted, etc.
  5. You are advised to answer only that number of questions as mentioned in the question paper 
  6. write your Unique ID (Unique Identification Number), Index Number and Subject on the top sheet of the Main Answer Booklet in the space provided. The same information should be written on the front sheet of each continuation booklet used. If loose maps, graph papers, etc. are used, write this information on those also.
  7. All answers in the Answer Booklet be written in BLACK / BLUE ink ONLY. & On the top sheet of the Main Answer Booklet, you are expected to affix your signature in the space provided for that purpose. Do NOT scribble anywhere on the top sheet.
  8. Write on both sides of each sheet of the Answer Booklet unless the rubric of the question paper prohibits this. While writing, in the answer booklet, leave a margin at both, the right-hand and the left-hand edges. Begin the answer to each separate part of a question on a separate line.
  9. Write the number of the question clearly in the left-hand margin at the beginning of each answer. Do not copy the question. Be careful to use the same system of numbering as that used in the question paper.
  10. Leave one space after answering each question.
  11. Remember, neat handwriting and spelling will be considered. You may use a pen with Black/Blue ink for writing your answers, but pencils may be used only for diagrams. Firing mathematical and drawing instruments and coloured pencils for subjects for which they will be needed. The use of any electronic devices, hand, desk or other types of calculating machines is not permitted.
  12. In addition to the time allocated in the timetable to write the paper 15 minutes is provided for reading the questions.
