CLAT 2025 Results: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) is expected to release the Revised Results of CLAT 2025 soon, following the Delhi High Court's verdict on petitions challenging errors in the CLAT UG 2025 question paper. In a significant development, the Delhi High Court has ordered the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) to review the marksheets and reissue the final selection list for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) UG 2025 within four weeks.
The directive was issued by a division bench, comprising Chief Justice D.K. Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, which partially accepted the candidates' objections raised in several petitions. While some complaints were dismissed, the court confirmed that the re-examination should apply not only to the appellants and petitioners, but to all candidates who answered the disputed questions and who could be affected by the identified errors.
This order brings to a close a series of writs and appeals alleging discrepancies in the CLAT UG 2025 question paper. These challenges were initially filed before various high courts across the country, pointing out deficiencies in the December 1, 2024, examination. In response, the Supreme Court, on February 6, 2025, transferred all related matters to the Delhi High Court to ensure a uniform and efficient resolution.
The court reserved its verdict after concluding final arguments on April 9, following extensive arguments by the petitioners and the consortium. It is important to note that the appeals related to the CLAT PG 2025 are still pending and will be heard separately.
