CLAT: The Common Law Admission
Test (CLAT) 2022-23 examination dates have been announced by the Consortium of
National Law Universities (CNLU). For the first time, CLAT will be held twice
in the same year. As per the schedule, the CLAT 2022 will be held on May 8
while CLAT 2023 will be conducted on December 18, 2022.
As per reports, the CLAT
examination dates were decided at the Annual Executive Committee and the
General Body Meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities held on
Sunday at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.
Counselling fees
Further, the CNLU has also reduced the
counselling fees from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000. For candidates from the reserved
category, the counselling fees will be Rs 20,000.
Exam pattern:
The CLAT is a two-hour-long paper. The
candidates will have to attempt 150 objective-type questions in English,
current affairs, legal reasoning, quantitative techniques, and logical
reasoning.
