The CBSE has given candidates with incomplete registrations for CTET February 2026 one last chance to complete their applications from December 27 to 30. See below for more details.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given a final opportunity to candidates who had started the registration process for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 but were unable to submit their forms.
According to the official press release issued by the CBSE, the online application process for CTET February 2026 ran from November 27 to December 18, 2025 (11:59 PM). During this period, a total of 25,30,581 candidates successfully submitted their applications.
CBSE data reveals that 3,53,218 candidates applied the day before the registration deadline, while 4,14,981 applications were submitted on the last day of registration.
After the application window closed, CBSE received complaints from candidates who were unable to complete their submissions. A review of the application data revealed that 1,61,127 registrations remained incomplete and were not converted into final submitted applications.
Considering that the CTET exam is being held after a gap of almost a year, the board stated that it has considered the matter sympathetically.
CBSE has decided to give these candidates one last opportunity to complete their applications on the CTET portal. This special facility will be available during the following period:
December 27, 2025 (11:00 AM)
December 30, 2025 (11:59 PM)
Only those candidates who have already initiated the CTET registration process will be able to utilize this window.
No new registrations will be allowed, nor will any further corrections be permitted.
